1 year agoPittsburgh Pirates closer David Bednar notched his 14th save of the season Sunday in a 2-1 win over the New York Mets. Bednar allowed a one-out double, but nothing more. His numbers continue to shine, as he now has a 1.78 ERA and 0.87 WHIP with 31 strikeouts in 25 ⅓ IP. He is now 14-for-15 in save opportunities and should continue to get a decent share of saves on a surprisingly good Pittsburgh squad, making him one of the better closing options in fantasy.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
