Anthony Schwartz, David Bell On Roster Bubble
Anthony Schwartz and David Bell could be in danger being cut, according Zac Jackson of The Athletic. The Browns have made it a focal point to add to their wide receiver group this offseason. They brought in Elijah Moore, Marquise Goodwin and Cedric Tillman in the hope to increase their passing attack. That being said, Schwartz and Bell could be on the wrong side of the 53-man roster. Schwartz is a former third-round pick of the team from the 2021 NFL Draft. He has 14 receptions in two seasons, while missing significant time due to injuries. Bell is a third-round pick from the 2022 draft. He finished with 24 receptions and 214 yards in 16 games last season. Both players should be able to catch on elsewhere as depth options, assuming they don't make the Browns roster.

Anthony Schwartz Placed On NFI List
Anthony Schwartz (hamstring) and Michael Woods II (Achilles) and offensive guard Colby Gossett (foot) on the Non-Football Injury list on Friday. Any of these three players can return to practice at any point during training camp or the preseason. Schwartz is the most notable for the Browns offense. The former third-rounder in 2021 out of Auburn has caught 14 of his 33 targets for 186 yards and one touchdown in 25 games (three starts) in his first two NFL seasons. Last year, he had just four receptions for 51 yards in 11 games (one start). The 22-year-old has disappointed so far and the Browns added receivers Elijah Moore, Marquise Goodwin and Cedric Tillman, so Schwartz is well off the fantasy radar entering the 2023 season.

Anthony Schwartz Faces Uphill Battle To Make The Team
Anthony Schwartz is facing an uphill battle to make the team during training camp this year with Marquise Goodwin taking over as the vertical stretch receiver, but Schwartz's blazing speed gives him a puncher's chance. If Schwartz can improve his route-running, hands and toughness, he could make a case for himself. General manager Andrew Berry doesn't like to part with his draft picks, but Schwartz has struggled emotionally and physically and must prove he can handle the demands of the NFL. The 22-year-old has worked hard this offseason, though, and looked solid in organized team activities and minicamp. He caught just four of 10 targets for 51 yards and no touchdowns in 2022.

Anthony Schwartz Placed On Injured Reserve
Anthony Schwartz (concussion) on Injured Reserve. The second-year man suffered a concussion last Sunday and will now miss at least the next four games. In a corresponding move, the Browns claimed former Buccaneers wideout Jaelon Darden off of waivers. Schwartz was not heavily involved on Cleveland's offense this season, but his absence could result in increased snaps for Demetric Felton and rookie Michael Woods.

Anthony Schwartz Won't Suit Up Sunday
Anthony Schwartz (coach's decision) is inactive for Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens. He has just one catch on six targets this season and should be left on waivers in all fantasy football leagues. Expect Michael Woods to play in Schwartz's place, serving as Cleveland's No. 4 wide receiver.
