Garrett Cooper Has Clean MRI On His Arm
2 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Garrett Cooper (arm) had an MRI on Saturday that revealed no structural damage, according to manager Skip Schumaker. Elvis Andrus ran into Cooper's left arm while trying to beat out a ground ball in Friday's contest. It was an awkward collision but Cooper remained in the game. It sounds like the MRI was just precautionary and while Cooper is not in the lineup on Saturday, he will be available off the bench.
