Kyle Manzardo Hits Ninth Homer
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays first base prospect Kyle Manzardo hit his ninth home run of the season for Triple-A Durham on Thursday. The 22-year-old has played well in the past two weeks, slashing .304/.385/.478 with a home run, four runs, seven RBI, and a stolen base in 12 games. The Idaho native is now slashing .266/.364/.495 with nine home runs, 31 RBI, and 26 runs in 54 games for Durham. With the Rays stacked at the corner-infield spots, it'll be tough for Manzardo to get a call-up. However, he is a must-roster in dynasty leagues and can be stashed in deeper leagues.
