Michael Grove Making Next Start Against Phillies
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Michael Grove will remain in the starting rotation and make his next start on Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies on the road. This will be Grove's second start since returning from an injured-list stint. The 26-year-old has been very hittable so far in his five starts in 2023, and he allowed four runs on four hits (two homers given up) while walking none and striking out seven in five innings in a loss to the New York Yankees in his last start on June 3. Grove has an 8.14 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 21 strikeouts in 21 innings over his five starts, but he'll need to start pitching better if he wants to keep his spot in LA's rotation, even with Noah Syndergaard (finger) going on the IL this week. We wouldn't recommend Grove as a fantasy streamer on Friday.
