Ceddanne Rafaela Homers To Extend 13-Game Hitting Streak
1 year agoBoston Red Sox shortstop prospect Ceddanne Rafaela hit a home run to extend his hit streak to 13 games for Double-A Portland. During this hit streak, the 22-year-old is 19-for-54 with four home runs, 12 RBI, 12 runs, and five stolen bases. Despite this hot stretch, he only has a .754 OPS through 47 games this season. While his bat has starred over these past few weeks, Rafaela's elite multi-positional defense and speed (25 steals this season) are considered his best tools. The Curaçao native is not in a position to get promoted straight from Double-A, meaning he is only worth focusing on in dynasty leagues.
