New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas has been in the injury headlines for the last three years but continues to be on the fantasy football radar heading into 2023. Thomas looked good in his short 2022 campaign but was ultimately bitten by the injury bug once again.
It looks like there's a chance he'll be ready to go for the Saints' training camp in mid-July. We have his latest update.
Will Michael Thomas be ready for the start of training camp? Let's get into it.

Will Michael Thomas Be Ready For Training Camp?
Thomas (toe) said he will be ready for training camp "Day 1, full speed." Thomas, who is taking part in organized team activities this week, also said he'll be back to form "just like everyone's used to." It's hard for fantasy managers to take Thomas at his word after the 30-year-old pass-catcher has played in only three games the last two years and 11 games the last three years due to ankle and toe injuries.
However, his three touchdown catches in three games last season kept him on the fantasy radar, so he still has at least perceived value in 2023. That said, we'll have to actually see Thomas participating in drills before we can truly evaluate his status.
Michael Thomas 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook
Thomas figures to be the No. 2 wide receiver behind Chris Olave in the new-look Saints' offense led by Derek Carr. Carr is viewed as bad by some and good by others, but he's supported a ton of fantasy-relevant wide receivers throughout his career. Carr has helped Michael Crabtree, Amari Cooper, Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller, Davante Adams, and Jared Cook, among others score near the top of their respective positions in fantasy football, so there's little doubt he can support multiple pass-catchers in 2023.
If Thomas can stay healthy, he'll play with his best quarterback since Drew Brees and will only have to beat out Rasheed Shahid, Juwan Johnson, Marquez Callaway, Tre'Quan Smith, and Foster Moreau to be the No. 2 option in the passing game. The Saints have the easiest schedule in the NFL by many metrics, so fantasy points could come in bunches from this offense.
At his WR47 ADP, he may be worth a dart throw, despite the injury risk.
