1 year agoCameron Champ comes into the RBC Canadian Open on a little bit of a run. Champ has made three of his last four cuts, highlighted by his T8 finish in Mexico in late April. Champ is an interesting fantasy option, as he isn't elite in any one key stat this week, but he is solid in a few. 61st on tour in fairways hit percentage, just over 60%, as well as 61st in greens in regulation percentage, 66.29%. Champ is making 88.38% of his putts inside 10 feet, which is just above tour average. The stats say Champ should be making the cut, but his history at the event says otherwise. Champ has yet to make an RBC Canadian Open cut in two starts in 2018 and 2022.
