2 years agoThe flyweight main event of UFC Vegas 74 on Saturday between Amir Albazi and Kai Kara-France ended in a bit of controversy, as it seemed that Kara-France did enough to win the fight, but the judges saw it differently. It was a good performance in Albazi's first fight against a flyweight ranked in the UFC's official top five, but it likely won't inspire an immediate title shot. In 25 minutes of action, Albazi landed 43 significant strikes, while Kara-France landed 99. Albazi passed his first test against the flyweight elite, but not with flying colors. He snuck out a split-decision win against a former interim title challenger. Albazi is now 5-0 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
