Bo Bichette Blasts 12th Home Run Of The Season On Thursday
1 year agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout in a 3-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday. Bichette put the Jays on the board in the bottom of the first inning when he took Freddy Peralta deep for his 12th long ball of the season. It was his only hit of the ball game but it was meaningful in the low-scoring affair. The 25-year-old shortstop has been red-hot over the last seven contests with three home runs and a 1.055 OPS. He's collected at least one hit in 16-of-17 games, including eight multi-hit efforts. The elite shortstop is slashing a ridiculous .332/.368/.533 to go along with 12 home runs, 39 RBI, and two stolen bases over 244 at-bats.
