Josh Donaldson Activated From Injured List
2 years agoThe New York Yankees activated third baseman Josh Donaldson (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list on Thursday. The team also reinstated right-hander Tommy Kahnle (biceps) from the 60-day injured list and moved left-hander Carlos Rodon to the 60-day IL. Donaldson had a couple setbacks with his right hamstring injury during his rehab after initially getting injured in early April after just five games played. In those five games, he had just two hits in 16 at-bats with a solo home run and six strikeouts in 17 plate appearances. The 37-year-old veteran is expected to return to the starting role at the hot corner in the Bronx, but he'll have to hit much better moving forward if he wants to play consistently and be valuable in fantasy leagues.
