Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper had a fantastic season with his new team in 2022, despite playing with Jacoby Brissett and a rusty version of Deshaun Watson. He was discounted in last year's fantasy drafts but smashed expectations with a WR10 overall finish in PPR leagues.
However, the soon-to-be 29-year-old receiver played banged up at times and underwent offseason surgery. We have his latest injury update.
Is Cooper healthy or injured and what is his 2023 fantasy football outlook? Let's get into it.

Amari Cooper Injury Update For Fantasy Football
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Cooper, who had core-muscle surgery in February, has been "great" with the young receivers and will "start doing stuff this week." Cooper didn't take part in organized team activities last week.
The veteran pass-catcher is working back into on-field drills for the first time this offseason, which means he should be at full strength by training camp this summer. All in all, everything we've heard from Browns' camp is good news regarding Cooper's health.
Amari Cooper 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook
Cooper caught 78 passes for 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns last season, far exceeding expectations. In 2023, he'll have more target competition in the form of Elijah Moore and Cedric Tillman, but he could see better quarterback play down the stretch.
Deshaun Watson was downright bad when he returned from over a year off the football field, passing for just 1,102 yards, seven touchdowns, and five interceptions in six games with a 58.2 competition percentage. If Watson can knock off the rust and return to Pro Bowl form, the Cleveland offense could be a top-five unit in the NFL. If that's the case, Cooper should be able to overcome additional target competition by playing in a pass-happy, efficient, and high-scoring offense.
Cooper is coming off the board around the WR18 spot in early 2023 fantasy drafts, which is appropriate. He'll have top-1o upside once again in 2022, and his floor should be in the WR3 range.
