Oswaldo Cabrera Continues To Struggle At The Plate
1 year agoNew York Yankees utility fielder Oswaldo Cabrera went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts in his most recent start on Monday. Cabrera has had an abysmal start to the season, slashing .195/.246/.292 through the first two months. The 24-year-old has been a valuable team member due to his defensive versatility. Still, with Josh Donaldson and Giancarlo Stanton returning from IL soon, Cabrera may have an even harder time finding his way into the starting lineup. New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone spoke in support of Cabrera, but a demotion may not be out of the question due to his poor offense production. Fantasy managers should continue to roster him in dynasty leagues and deep-league formats for now.
