Bobby Miller To Get The Ball Again On Sunday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers rookie hurler Bobby Miller tossed another gem on Monday against the Washington Nationals, going six innings, allowing one run on four hits and a walk, and striking out four, earning his second win of the season in as many starts. He now owns a 1.64 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and 21.4% strikeout rate. According to J.P. Hoornstra of SportsNet LA, Miller will get another chance on Sunday, starting against the New York Yankees. It'll be a good test for the 24-year-old, who was the club's second-best prospect before his promotion, as per MLB Pipeline. Manager Dave Roberts hasn't confirmed if Miller will be a mainstay in the rotation this season, but if he keeps pitching this well, he might not have a choice.
