Kyle Manzardo Picks Up Four More Hits
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays first base prospect Kyle Manzardo went 4-for-6 with a pair of doubles, one run and two RBI on Monday for Triple-A Durham. His big day raised his average to .275 to go along with eight home runs and 27 RBI. Manzardo, 22, always has graded out strong as an on-base machine, but the Rays have developed his power over the past season. Despite the impressive numbers, the Rays have multiple options at the moment that are blocking the former second-round draft pick. Due to this, it's unlikely that Manzardo will make an impact this season, but he remains a strong stash in dynasty leagues. Between his own talent and the Rays ability to get the most out of their players, he is a safe play when his time does come.
