Josh Donaldson Could See Another Rehab Game On Tuesday
2 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson (hamstring) could see another minor-league rehab game on Tuesday before joining the team, per manager Aaron Boone. Earlier in the week, Boone told reporters that there was a chance that the 37-year-old slugger could rejoin the Yankees for their series against the Mariners, which kicks off on Monday in Seattle. However, it sounds like he'll need another tune-up game with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday. Barring any setbacks, Donaldson should join the Yankees in the middle of next week. Boone has already stated that Donaldson will return to a full-time role upon his activation.
