Anthony Rizzo Logs Base Hit As Yankees End Losing Streak
1 year agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo went 1-for-4 in Saturday's win against the San Diego Padres, ending the team's three-game losing streak. Rizzo's lone game hit came in the first inning when he singled to center field on a line drive. The 33-year-old has now collected a hit in seven of his last eight games. He leads the Yankees in batting average, averaging .305 with 61 hits, 11 homers, 31 RBI, and 30 runs scored in 52 games. Rizzo and the Yankees are now 31-23 and will try to seal the series win over the Padres on Sunday. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Rizzo in all league formats while he's wielding a hot bat.
