Hawks Hire Igor Kokoskov As Lead Assistant Coach
2 years agoThe Atlanta Hawks have hired Igor Kokoskov as their lead assistant coach, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. He served as Quin Snyder's assistant before when they were with the Utah Jazz and the University of Missouri. Kokoskov also spent one season as the head coach of the Phoenix Suns during the 2018-19 season, when they went 19-63 and finished last in the Western Conference. Looking at his tenure with Snyder in Utah, they do seem to have a good track record together, and the Hawks are looking to keep their stars happy, so this could be a step in the right direction.
