Corbin Carroll Stuffs The Stat Sheet On Sunday
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, three runs scored, three walks, two stolen bases, and a strikeout in an 8-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Carroll opened up the scoring in this one as he bopped his seventh home run of the season off of Roansy Contreras. He would reach base three more times in this contest, all via base-on-balls, score two more times, and swipe a pair of bags. It was a monster game from the 22-year-old, who now has his season-batting line up to .284/.382/.507 to go along with the seven home runs, 16 RBI, and 13 steals over 148 at-bats.
