Termarr Johnson Hits First Home Run
2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates top prospect Termarr Johnson hit his first home run of the 2023 season in a game for Single-A Bradenton. After starting the season with a .154 batting average, he is 12-for-32 in his last eight games. The 2022 fourth-overall pick is now slashing .276/.400/.379 on the season. He projects as a solid all-around offensive talent, and the Pirates hope the 5'8" second baseman can translate high raw power into better power numbers over the season. The 18-year-old is far from the majors, but his high offensive ceiling makes him a must-roster in dynasty leagues.
