Anthony Hernandez Gets Submission Win At UFC 298
1 year agoAnthony Hernandez opened up the UFC 298 main card with a second-round submission over Roman Kopylov. In the first round, Hernandez struggled to get the fight to the ground as he went 1-for-11 on his takedown attempts. Kopylov also landed some good strikes early on as he was dictating the pace. However, in the second round, Hernandez picked up the pace and got Kopylov down two times. On the ground, he sunk in a rear-naked choke to submit the Russian. With the win, Hernandez improved to 12-2 and one No Contest as a pro and 6-2 in the UFC and should get someone in the top 10 next time out.
