Carolina Hurricanes winger Seth Jarvis tallied a team-high two points in Thursday's Game 1 loss to Florida. Both of his points came in power-play situations as Jarvis opened the scoring 19:48 into the first period and helped Stefan Noesen tie the game at two early in the third. The contest then had nearly 80 minutes of overtime play, but Jarvis and the Hurricanes couldn't generate any more offense and eventually took a very painful 3-2 loss in front of home crowd. Jarvis has been outstanding for the team during the playoffs, putting up 10 points in 12 games with five goals and five assists. Only Sebastian Aho (11) has registered more points among all Hurricanes skaters.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Carolina Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis (undisclosed) did not finish Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings. He exited the action with an undisclosed injury after logging 12:44 of ice time. Entering Saturday, Jarvis was on a roll, boasting a six-game point streak. He has totaled 27 goals and 52 points in 62 games for the season. Andrei Svechnikov (upper body) missed a fifth consecutive game on Saturday, and Jordan Staal (lower body) was a late scratch. This means Carolina may be very thin up front on Sunday when the team will visit the Anaheim Ducks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
