2 years agoTexas Rangers pitching prospect Jack Leiter dazzled in his most recent outing, striking out 10 over six innings of one-run ball. Following a poor stretch in April, Leiter has bounced back nicely in May, sporting a 1.59 ERA and 0.82 WHIP through three starts this month. Overall, he carries a 4.38 ERA and 34.4% strikeout rate with Double-A Frisco for the season. Leiter must demonstrate more consistency with his performance before a promotion arrives, but he will become an intriguing fantasy target when that happens. The 2021 second-overall pick possesses an encouraging upside and will be worth a stash in deeper fantasy formats until he eventually gets his shot at the majors, more likely in 2024.--Kevin Hickey - RotoBaller
