Bobby Miller Rebounds With Quality Start
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Bobby Miller has struggled to start the season for Triple-A Oklahoma, but he put in his best start yet, going six innings deep, striking out six, and allowing one run. Miller's elite high-90s fastball was on full display, generating five whiffs and averaging a velocity of 99.5 mph. Through three starts prior, he had an 8.64 ERA, 15% strikeout rate, and 12.5% walk rate in eight-and-a-third innings. If the Dodgers' top pitching prospect can go on a run of quality starts, he will be the first to get a call-up to join their star-studded major-league rotation.
