Samori Toure, Jayden Reed To Battle For No. 3 Job
2 years agoBarring the addition of a veteran receiver, Green Bay Packers wide receivers Samori Toure and rookie Jayden Reed are expected to battle for the No. 3 job behind Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs, beginning in organized team activities. Toure was only targeted 10 times in 2022, catching five of them for 82 yards and a touchdown. Toure will have an opportunity, but Reed was taken in the second round of the draft for a reason, with his speed, hands and route-running abilities standing out at Michigan State. The rookie is a candidate to fill the slot role after Randall Cobb's departure. Reed is undersized at 5-foot-11, 187 pounds, but his skills are intriguing for those looking to take a late flier in dynasty/keeper leagues.
