Doc Rivers and Philadelphia 76ers Part Ways
2 years agoThe Philadelphia 76ers will reportedly be moving on from head coach Doc Rivers after yet another second-round disappointment in the postseason. Rivers was one of the coaches on the hot seat this year after similar disappointments in his first two seasons even though he had some very good rosters. His record in Philadelphia will sit at 154-82 in the regular season and 20-15 in the postseason. Rivers won Coach of the Month honors three times in his tenure with the 76ers, but his playoff woes were his ultimate downfall. The Sixers are now looking at a big list of candidates that includes Nick Nurse, Mike Budenholzer, Mike D'Antoni, and Sam Cassell.
