The Los Angeles Chargers had a 10-7 record in 2022 before blowing a 27-0 lead in the Wildcard round to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Chargers didn't add many offensive pieces this offseason but did draft wide receiver Quentin Johnston with the 21st overall pick to an existing star-studded offense. Justin Herbert (QB11), Austin Ekeler (RB1 PPR), Keenan Allen (averaged 16.4 PPR points), Mike Williams (averaged 13.6 PPR points), and Gerald Everett (TE13 PPR) were all fantasy-relevant last year and will be again in 2023.
How does Los Angeles' schedule line up this upcoming season? Let's take a look.

2023 Chargers Schedule Analysis for Fantasy Football
Austin Ekeler will likely be a first-round pick in fantasy drafts again after his RB1 finish in PPR formats last season. Matchups won't matter much because of his versatility in the passing game, but the Titans, Patriots, and Bills were all defenses that didn't allow many fantasy points to running backs in 2022. Still, both the Titans and Patriots gave up 90-plus receptions to running backs last year.
For Justin Herbert, he starts the fantasy season with elite matchups. The Dolphins, Titans, Vikings, and Raiders were all bottom seven in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks last season. He will face tough matchups later on with the Jets, Packers, Broncos, Ravens, Patriots, and Bills.
The fantasy playoffs (Week 15-17) won't be the easiest for Los Angeles either. A nice matchup against the Raiders in Week 15 should help players like Herbert, Ekeler, Allen, and Williams all have big games. But Herbert and the Chargers' offense might struggle in Week 16 against the Bills and on the road in Week 17 against the Broncos.
With new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, the Chargers' offense should be better than last season. It'll be interesting to see how the target distribution works between Allen, Williams, and Johnston, but with Herbert under center, there will be a lot of opportunities for big fantasy days.
