Who Do The Detroit Lions Face At Home In 2023?
The Lions have eight home games this season, including three against their divisional rivals. They face the Chicago Bears at home in Week 11, the Packers on Thanksgiving (Week 12), and the Minnesota Vikings to end the year in Week 18.
Meanwhile, Detroit has its home opener in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks. These two teams faced off in Week 4 last season, with the Seahawks winning 48-45 in Seattle. Despite not getting the victory, Jared Goff was outstanding for fantasy players. He had four passing touchdowns in that game, a season-high.
Detroit will have their second home game this year in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. Despite adding several veterans this offseason, Atlanta should still have a bottom-10 defense in 2023. Fantasy players should expect massive performances from Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and the rest of the Lions' offense.
Who Do The Detroit Lions Face On The Road In 2023?
The Lions have been the laughingstock of the NFL for years. However, that is changing. The league is buying into Detroit, making them the Week 1 opponent for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. While the Lions are underdogs in this matchup, fantasy players should expect the first game of the year to be exciting.
Meanwhile, the Lions have their second road game this year in Week 4 against the Packers on Thursday Night Football. After facing Aaron Rodgers over the past several years, Detroit will get their first look at Jordan Love as the starting quarterback. Hopefully, this matchup turns into a shootout, leading to plenty of fantasy points.
