The Philadelphia Eagles had a 14-3 record last season. They finished first in the NFC East for the first time since 2019.
Meanwhile, the Eagles had the top record in the NFC last year. More importantly, Philadelphia cruised through the NFC playoffs, winning both contests by a combined 69-14 score.
Unfortunately, the Eagles couldn’t end the year with a win. The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the NFC champions in Super Bowl 57. Let’s look at Philadelphia’s 2023 season and the fantasy outlook.

Who Do The Philadelphia Eagles Face At Home In 2023?
The Eagles will play eight games at home this season, including three against the other NFC East teams. Philadelphia's first home game is in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings. Last year these two teams faced off in Week 2, with the Eagles winning 24-7. Jalen Hurts had 333 passing yards and a touchdown in the game. Furthermore, the star quarterback had two rushing touchdowns in the win.
Philadelphia has back-to-back home games in Week 12 and Week 13 this year. However, they are against the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers. While the Eagles didn’t face either during the regular season in 2022, both matchups should be excellent for fantasy players.
Meanwhile, the team faces the New York Giants in Week 16. The Christmas Day matchup is especially special for reserve running back Boston Scott. The veteran is known as the Giant Killer. Scott has 10 touchdowns in eight career games against New York. Furthermore, the veteran running back has scored a rushing touchdown in five straight matchups against the NFC East division rivals.
Who Do The Philadelphia Eagles Face On The Road In 2023?
The Eagles will start the 2023 season on the road in Week 1. They will take on the New England Patriots. Meanwhile, the Patriots will honor former quarterback Tom Brady in their home opener.
Philadelphia didn’t face New England last year. The last time these two teams faced off during the regular season was in 2019. However, the Patriots always have a talented defense. Therefore fantasy players should temper their Week 1 expectations for the Eagles' offense.
However, the most important matchup comes in Week 11 against Kansas City. Many thought this game should have been the season-opening matchup. However, fans and fantasy players should be excited about the Monday night matchup in Week 11.
