The New York Giants took a big step forward last season as the franchise won its first playoff game since its 2011 Super Bowl run.
Quarterback Daniel Jones had a career year and cashed in on a high-dollar extension and the team added a few weapons to improve its passing attack. All in all, the Giants could have more fantasy relevance in 2023 and it's worth evaluating their schedule ahead of the upcoming season.
Who do the Giants play in 2023 and how does the schedule set up for fantasy football success? Let's dive in.

2023 Giants Schedule Analysis for Fantasy Football
The Giants face some fantasy QB-friendly teams in the Dolphins and Raiders but match up with six teams who were top-10 units against fantasy QBs last season. The same goes for the running back position, as New York has fierce teams in its own division at stopping RBs. That said, Saquon Barkley is obviously a must-start in all matchups.
New York's wide receivers with be affected to most by matchups since none of them are bonafide studs -- and again -- the schedule looks to be more tough than favorable for wideouts.
Tight end Darren Waller will also likely be a must-start and could reach 100 targets this season after being traded from Las Vegas -- but it's worth noting New York faces five of the top six teams against fantasy TEs last year. If Waller takes a step back due to age and injury, this could be problematic.
New York will square off with the Saints, Eagles, and Rams in the fantasy football playoff rounds. The Eagles matchup is clearly worrisome for fantasy football, but the Rams have a depleted roster and the Saints have aging veterans on its defense that could be in for regression in 2023.
