2 years agoAfter a defeat in his UFC debut, Carlos Ulberg has gone on a strong run by winning his fourth straight fight on Saturday against Ihor Potieria. The win also gives Ulberg his third straight first-round knockout/TKO victory. In 2:09 of action Saturday, Ulberg needed just 13 significant strikes to secure the win. A left hand clipped Potieria, which served as the beginning of the end and led to an eventual referee stoppage due to strikes. Ulberg is proving himself to be a man to watch in the UFC's light-heavyweight division.

In his last bout, Ulberg defeated Volkan Oezdemir via unanimous decision to extend his win streak to seven. Carlos Ulberg Looking To Cement Himself As A Title Contender At UFC Macau

Ulberg is coming off a knockout win over Alonzo Menifield in 12 seconds as this should be a fantastic striking fight for however long it lasts. Ulberg enters the bout as the favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $8,900. In the UFC, Ulberg is 6-1 with five wins by stoppage while his lone loss came by knockout. If Ulberg does get the win, he would cement himself as a title contender and could be a win away from a title shot.

11 months agoScoring the third-fastest finish in UFC light heavyweight history, Carlos Ulberg scored a 12-second knockout over Alonzo Menifield at UFC St. Louis on Saturday. Ulberg has now won his last six fights, scoring four knockouts and one submission stoppage along the way, and is most likely going to land somewhere in the top 15. From the opening bell, Menifield charged at Ulberg, only to be caught by Ulberg's left hook. In 12 seconds of action, Ulberg landed seven significant strikes. Outside of a loss in his UFC debut, Ulberg has been spotless in his past six fights.

Carlos Ulberg Has A Tough Test In Front Of Him
11 months agoOn the main card of UFC St. Louis, a light-heavyweight bout is set between Carlos Ulberg and Alonzo Menifield. Ulberg was set to take on former title challenger Dominick Reyes in January before Ulberg was forced to withdraw due to an injury. The fight was rescheduled but fell through again, only this time, it was Reyes who was forced to withdraw. Menifield steeped up to face Ulberg but Menifield needed more time to prepare, so the fight was moved to 11th May. DraftKings sees Ulberg as the favorite with a salary of $9,300. Throughout his UFC career (six bouts), he averages 90.5 fantasy points per contest. If Ulberg wins this fight, he will extend his win streak to six.
