The Miami Dolphins had a successful 2022 season under first-year head coach Mike McDaniel, but the AFC continues to add talent and the AFC East just became tougher with the arrival of Aaron Rodgers in New York.
The Dolphins will battle it out in a tough conference and division and will also have to find a way to keep its franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on the field after he missed four games a season ago. There is no shortage of fantasy football firepower on this Dolphins' roster, so evaluating their 2023 schedule is key.
Who do the Dolphins play in 2023 and how does the schedule set up for fantasy football success? Let's dive in.

According to Sharp Football Analysis, Miami has the fifth-hardest strength of schedule in 2023. The Dolphins will face eight opponents with winning records from last season, but again, will have two matchups with the new-look New York Jets squad.
2023 Dolphins Schedule Analysis for Fantasy Football
Buffalo, Philadelphia, Denver, and New York (Jets) were fierce against fantasy QBs last season, but Kansas City, Tennessee, Las Vegas, Carolina, and New England were generous in that area. Ultimately, Tua Tagovailoa will have a mixed schedule, but he can perform well in tough matchups thanks to his weaponry.
Dallas, Tennessee, Washington, New England, Buffalo, Baltimore, and New York were among the toughest fantasy matchups for RBs, while the Chargers, Raiders, and Jets were top RB defending teams. The Miami backfield will be crowded with Devon Achane, Jeff Wilson Jr., and Raheem Mostert, but it's worth noting they look to have tough fantasy playoff matchups.
Tennessee, Buffalo, Dallas, Kansas City, and New England were easy matchups for wideouts last year. On the flip side, the Jets, Broncos, Chargers, and Eagles presented problematic matchups for the position. That said, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle remain must-starts in all matchups.
Overall, the Dolphins have a tough road to the playoffs but will see potential shootout conditions in the fantasy football playoffs. Matchups with the Jets, Cowboys, and Ravens in Weeks 15-17 set up well for potential high-scoring affairs. Sometimes, having two high-end offenses up against each other matters more than the fantasy stats for "points against."
