Dylan Carlson Leaves Game With Ankle Sprain
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson (ankle) left Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox after spraining his ankle while running out a single in the second inning. He did stay in the game for an inning but had to come out in the third. He should be considered day-to-day for now and he expressed optimism when asked about the injury after the game. Carlson was slashing just .230/.278/.350 on the season with just two homers in 100 at-bats. He doesn't need to be rostered in any format at this point.
