Welcome to our PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Friday, May 12th, 2023. The 2022-2023 NBA season is rolling along, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.
PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry, or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option.

Jalen Brunson MORE 39.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
If you can find reason for the under here I’d love to talk about it because Jalen Brunson has been one of the most impactful players all postseason.
He’s failed to hit this projection twice this series, but that was before he was playing almost literally the entirety of the game. Any player with the potential to play 48 minutes is going to threaten their over even if it’s someone like Quentin Grimes.
There’s enough assist and rebound potential to go in multiple directions with a Brunson over bet, but Fantasy Score is going to be the safest. Since that’s not listed, the next best option aside from taking the over on his 27.5 points line is his combination bet.
Max Strus MORE 12.5 Points
Although the Heat shooting guard situation is murky with Duncan Robinson playing well and Miami’s shot distribution not favoring anyone, Max Strus continues to stretch the floor against the odds.
His overs the last couple games have been easy cashes although it’s easy to see why the lines don’t adjust. It’s not that his production is fluky, it’s that Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin, and Strus are all the same type of player that put defense first.
His over should still be safe with how many three-pointers he’s taking and Strus is still one of Miami’s more active players in transition and that gives him a massive boost.
Anthony Davis MORE 24.5 Points
With how easily Anthony Davis is able to get shots off, you have to assume he’s going for 25 points each night. He hits one of those turnaround-fadeaways in each of the last two games and his overs cash.
The Warriors are still in desperation mode, but that doesn’t mean much in terms what they can do to stop Davis.
LeBron James is not the focal point of the offense anymore, so if anyone on the Lakers is set out to ‘get things going’ every night, it’s Davis.
