Joseph Woll In Goal For Game 4 Wednesday
2 years agoToronto Maple Leafs goalie Joseph Woll will be tending twine in Game 4 against the Florida Panthers on Wednesday. He replaced the injured Ilya Samsonov early in the second period, faced 21 shots, and allowed three goals, resulting in an overtime loss to Florida in Game 3. Woll has had limited play in the 2022-23 playoffs thus far, registering a 0-1-0 record, a .846 save percentage, and a 3.85 goals-against average. The 24-year-old will have a tough challenge against the Panthers, who led the NHL in shots on goal per game at 36.8 during the regular season.
