Kyle Hendricks Sharp In Tuesday's Rehab Start
2 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) picked up a win on Tuesday in his latest minor-league rehab start for Triple-A Iowa. The veteran right-hander allowed no runs on just two hits while walking none and striking out four in his five innings of work. It was a nice change after Hendricks allowed 10 earned runs on eight hits (one homer) while walking four and striking out six in his first two rehab outings at Iowa. There's a chance that the 33-year-old's next start could be with the Cubs in what would be his 2023 season debut. Hendricks will have a rotation spot waiting for him in Chicago, but the soft-tosser doesn't strike out enough batters to move the needle all that much in fantasy.
