2 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Jose Suarez was removed from Sunday's start early with shoulder soreness. Suarez felt something in his shoulder during the third inning of his start against the Texas Rangers and was then pulled from the game. He will get an MRI tomorrow to determine the extent of his injury, but an IL trip seems likely. Before leaving, Suarez allowed seven earned runs over 2 ⅔ innings pitched. He has been pretty awful all season, posting a 9.62 ERA and 2.14 WHIP in 24 ⅓ IP. It is possible that he's been pitching through injury, but either way he holds no fantasy value. One of Tucker Davidson or Chase Silseth will likely step into Suarez' rotation spot.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
