O'Cyrus Torrence Could Start Immediately
2 years agoThe Buffalo Bills took offensive guard O'Cyrus Torrence with a premium pick in this year's draft at No. 59 overall, and although they likely won't commit to it publicly, with his type of talent and fit in the zone-blocking scheme they plan to use more in 2023, they're likely hoping Torrence can win a starting job at right guard as a rookie. He is an impressive player who could massively outplay his draft position if the Bills handle him correctly. At 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, the 23-year-old guard definitely brings more bulk to Buffalo's O-line. Torrence isn't a freak athlete, but he wins with a mean streak and physicality and should improve the team's pass-blocking in his first NFL season.
