Andrew Benintendi Returns Against Twins
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi (elbow) is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Joe Ryan and the Minnesota Twins, playing left field and hitting second in the lineup. It will be Benintendi's first game action since leaving last Friday's contest early after he was hit by a pitch in the elbow. Monday's off day was ideal for the 28-year-old left-handed hitter, and he's back in there for the start of a series against the Twins. Fantasy managers will want to get him back into their lineups in redraft leagues. Benintendi is off to a fine start in his first year with the Pale Hose, as he's hitting .281 (27-for-96) with five doubles, five RBI and four stolen bases in 25 games, but he's still searching for his first long ball in 2023.
