2 years agoWith the Arizona Diamondbacks listing Wednesday's starter as TBD, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic speculates that the club could promote top pitching prospect Brandon Pfaadt to oppose the Texas Rangers. Music to fantasy managers ears that have been waiting for his promotion. The 24-year-old is one of the top pitching prospects in the game and is off to a 2-1 start with a 3.91 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings over his first five starts for Triple-A Reno. Pfaadt was the leader in strikeouts across all minor league levels in 2022 and possess a high level of potential at the next level.
