Alex Verdugo Delivers Another Walk-Off Monday
2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo played the hero once again in Monday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays. Verdugo went 2-for-5 with a double, a walk-off solo home run off of Jordan Romano, and a stolen base. The 26-year-old has gotten off to a great start at the plate, slashing .311/.373/.508 with five HR, 18 RBI, and two stolen bases. He has always been a decent fantasy option, but his value would take a tick up if he can continue to deliver power in addition to batting average.
