Domingo German Takes Tough No-Decision Monday
2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German turned in a gem Monday but unfortunately couldn't come away with the win in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Guardians. German pitched 8 1/3 innings, allowing one run on two hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Closer Clay Holmes came in to blow the save, putting a damper on a great performance. The 30-year-old has had some good starts and some bad ones so far but is now 2-2 with a 4.46 ERA and 10.22 K/9 rate. At this point, fantasy managers may not feel totally comfortable starting him in all matchups, including his next one at the Rays. However, he has shown enough positive signs to keep him around.
