Decision On Aaron Judge Coming Soon
2 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said the team will make a decision within the next couple of hours about whether to put outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) on the injured list. Judge hasn't played since last Thursday, when he had an awkward head-first slide into third base that led to right-hip discomfort. Even if he doesn't go on the injured list, he won't play on Monday against the Cleveland Guardians. An MRI exam showed no structural damage to Judge's hip, but he could still need an IL stint as a precaution. Fantasy managers need to prepare for the possibility that the record-setting superstar could miss more time this week. The 31-year-old is currently hitting .261 (24-for-92) with five doubles, six home runs, 14 RBI and two steals in 26 games played.
