Logan Allen Excellent In Sunday Loss
2 years agoCleveland Guardians left-hander Logan Allen allowed two runs on four hits over five innings in a 7-1 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. Allen struck out eight and walked one but wound up a hard-luck loser in the second start of his MLB career. The rookie southpaw had an excellent 34.5% strikeout rate in Triple-A this season and he has translated that to the big leagues, notching 16 K's in 11 innings of work. Allen's next start will come on Saturday against a red-hot Minnesota Twins team. He should be rostered in all leagues moving forward.
