2 years agoQualifying getting rained out didn't do Kyle Larson any favors this weekend, as he will now start from the 18th position for this weekend's Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway. NASCAR used their metric calculation to set the starting lineup for this weekend's race. With that being said, Larson is still the favorite to win this weekend's race by sportsbooks and racing analysts alike. Dover is one of Larson's very best tracks on the schedule, as he owns an average finish of 6.9 here with top 5 finishes in 50% of his 14 career starts. In last year's race at Dover, Larson ended up finishing 6th with just 19 laps led, but let's not forget that he spun midway through the race and also shredded a tire. Before that, Larson had finished of 2nd, 1st, and 3rd at Dover. Larson already has two wins on the 2023 season and should be a contender to grab a third in the Wurth 400.--Jordan McAbee
