Ross Chastain Loves Racing At Dover, Looks To Take Over As Points Leader
2 years agoIn last year's race at Dover, Ross Chastain was a pleasant surprise. He started 7th in that race and ended up leading 86 laps en route to a 3rd-place finish. He also ended up finishing 4th in Stage 1 and 6th in Stage 2. That was a bit surprising for NASCAR fans, though, because up until that point, Chastain had never had a result better than 15th at "The Monster Mile." Still, Ross loves racing at this track, recently remarking, "I love going to Dover and racing anything there." This weekend, Chastain will be looking for another strong run, and possibly even grabbing the points lead. He's currently 12 points behind Christopher Bell in the Standings right now, so a strong run in this weekend's Wurth 400 could get him there.
