2 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (neck) is back in the lineup on Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies. The 25-year-old masher has missed the last four games with neck discomfort but he's back out there as the designated hitter, batting third. It's an encouraging sign that the team felt comfortable enough to insert him back into the lineup so it appears the neck issue is behind him. Alvarez is rocking a .253/.367/.533 triple-slash line to go along with six home runs and 27 RBI across 75 at-bats.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
