Aaron Judge Could Land On Injured List
2 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said the MRI exam on outfielder Aaron Judge's hip showed "something" and that an injured-list stint is possible, but the team doctor will weigh in before any kind of decision is made. It's not a guarantee yet that Judge will land on the injured list, but it's a possibility. The 31-year-old All-Star slugger tweaked his hip the other day during an awkward head-first slide into third base. Fantasy managers need to prepare for the chance that Judge needs a week or two of rest. Any time missed by the record-breaking home run hitter would be hard to swallow for the Yankees and fantasy managers. After breaking an American League record with 62 home runs in 2022, Judge is currently hitting .261 (24-for-92) with five doubles, six home runs, 14 RBI, two steals and a league-leading 35 strikeouts in 26 games.
