Max Kepler Hitting Leadoff Against Royals
2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler is starting in right field and is batting leadoff for the Twins on Friday against right-hander Jordan Lyles and the Kansas City Royals. Kepler has been the Twins' leadoff hitter more often than not so far in 2023 against right-handed pitchers. However, he hasn't been all that great for fantasy managers in deep-mixed leagues through 58 plate appearances and 15 games played, as he's gone 12-for-53 (.226) with four doubles, two home runs, six RBI and eight runs scored. He's been better against righties, hitting .250 (12-for-48) with all four of his doubles, both of his home runs and all six of his RBI. Kepler will have a bit more DFS upside at the top of the order on Friday.
