2 years agoTexas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung (hand) was hit in the left hand by a pitch on Wednesday and was held out of Thursday's game, but manager Bruce Bochy expects Jung to try and push his way into Friday's lineup. Bochy said the decision would come down to the medical staff. Ezequiel Duran started at the hot corner with Jung out on Thursday. The 25-year-old Jung has been a vital part of Texas' lineup early this year, as he's hitting .281/.333/.494 with four doubles, five home runs, 16 RBI, a stolen base and 15 runs scored in 96 plate appearances over 23 games played. Jung was able to take batting practice on Thursday and should be back for fantasy managers this weekend. Get him back into your lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
